A benefit for Joel’s “Road to Recovery”
is taking place on Sunday, March 30, 2008 at Earls Restaurant, 2606 28th Avenue.
This benefit is to raise funds through a night of food and fun, a live DJ and will include a silent auction and a live auction.
Joel hopes to further his rehabilitation in San Diego, California at the “Project Walk” Centre, an extensive rehabilitation institute.
To facilitate this, Joel will need to rely on family to accompany him and financial support from many others.
Come out and help Joel and have a whole lot of fun!
*We are now looking for items to be used for the Silent and the Live Auctions.
All and any help on this matter will be greatly appreciated.*

The videos and pictures on the site are fantastic. We're so happy to see that you're continuing to make positive steps (no pun intended) in your recovery! I'm sure the website will be updated, but please let us know if/when you'll be in San Diego. Maybe Ang and I will come steal you for a day trip to Tijuana ;) Keep up the hard work. All our best,

Hi Joel,
You are doing awesome. Keep it up and don't ever let anything stand in the way of what you want. If anyone can do it - you can. That bike is very impressive and so is the ability that you have to stand and walk. I know someone who went through a similar situation, and I have to tell you that it is not easy by any stretch of the imagination, but it will happen.
We don't post much, but check the blog almost daily. Sure enjoy the video clips of you cruising around on the bike. Good stuff Joel! Keep up the good work.
