Day four at P.W.

We had a great weekend! Saturday we took in a mexican festival, Cinco de Mayo, in old town San Diego. Sunday we cruised North to check out some beaches: Huntington beach, Laguna beach, Newport beach- not like you've ever seen on tv but the beaches are HUGE!

The video is from this morning , wearing a weight vest and getting myself up.

Awesome work Joel! I'm sure it isn't the same having that guy's hands on your butt as it was when I did it. (At least that's what I tell myself). Your presence is missed here - we will keep watching and cheering you on.

So I was the lucky one that took you down to Project Walk. Not knowing what to expect, my eyes were opened to the different and unique exercises that they started to use with you. I saw the look of determination and effort on your face as the PW staff put you through that 3 hour work out. There is sure very little down time, enough for a slip of water and then you continue on. I see that you are as determined and focused at PW as you were at Wascana. Keep the faith son, and know that there is a whole community supporting you and cheering you on. Tons and Love Dad

Hey Joel, Wow, you are working as hard as ever! I was so disappointed I didn't get to say good bye and wish you luck before you left. We sure miss seeing your smiling face. The "Teamwork" print you left in physio is just incredible. It makes my day, everyday. Thank you so much.
Keep the updates coming! I told Sheila, maybe we should start wearing shorts to work too, like your guys! I'm sure you can hear her laughing.
Take care my friend...Nicole

Hey BD,

If you run in to LC....you got my number, and tell her to bring a chain saw with her.

Do I spy an erg? Don't tell me after all these years you've finally taken up erging. When I look at the photos and videos you're posting and then think back to the last time I saw you - the Pull for Joel at northwest - it's amazing.

Keep posting videos. Your teammates out west are pulling for you. I had dinner with Camille last night and we were saying it's pretty hard to complain about the 4x2k workout yesterday when we see how hard you're working every day.

WOW Joel!!!!!
Way to go!!!
It looks like you aren't wasting even a few minutes of your time there and the hard work is paying off. Keep the videos coming!!
You continue to be an inspiration!
Congratulations on graduating from Wascana and moving into your 'graduate studies' down there in balmy San Diego (YES - I am sufficiently jealous of the weather!!)!!!
:D
