Day 14

Hi everyone,

I woke up this morning to discover I was being put into a bubble bath by five women. Yes!!! I sat in there for about an hour...then came and had breakfast. I also suntanned outside for a few hours then came back inside for a nap - sounds like a pretty typical day in my life! I will probably relax the rest of the day away and rejuvinate my energy to prepare for more physio. I should be getting my staples out soon and will probably be going to Wascana sometime next week. We will post once we know that date. In the meantime, I have been feeling great and have taken the first step towards becoming a drag queen with my new black thigh high compression tights. So if you know anyone that has size 10 heels...well that's step 2! Love you all and thanks for your continued love and support!

I bet Kendra's got a pair of high heels that size.
Its great to hear that you've still got your sense of humour, I always loved that part of you.

Its not fair that when you wake up you're in a bubble bath with 5 nurses. I'm usually in the bath with them, then wake up...

ohhh jeeze look at that picture. I cant believe all the girls in school were in love with you guys.....Comperssion socks. Those are sexy. I am actually a certified fitter for those. So when your ready for the super sexy pair come see me. I even have to help the patients put them on which requires removal of the pants. Thats ok if they are young guys like you. But when its a 86 year old man its kinda groddy

I have to say I do know of a store in Vancouver that sells both thigh high leather boots and those 9 inch clear plastic heels or whatever. I could send you a pair :)

Your cousin, Emily

You're in luck! I happen to be a size ten and have an extra pair of pumps you can borrow! Now, what colour are you looking for? Classic black or something a little more noticeable?
Let me know and i will see what i can round up!

You are doing a great job....soooooooo amazing!

Thinking about ya!

Hi Joel! Our little dude was hanging out with his cousins all day at the folk fest so Carl and I were wandering around Banff wondering what to do with ourselves - had we only known you needed some black heels and we would have had something to do. Carl is out being a rock star with his band, The Kelly Hoolihans, tonight playing at the Rose and Crown and he's dedicating a few Stompin' Tom numbers to you! Keep up the great work and may those whirlpool sponge baths be plentiful. -- Kathy et al. in Banff

Hey Stud, (aka Ceaser)

Nice bath, but you left out the part about the girl coming in this afternoon to give you a massage, or the Bananna bread! Wow, I am going to start calling your Ceaser!

Hey Joel,
I feel like you're leaving some colour out of your I woke up in a bubble bath story --- come on, we're your fans, we want the whole story.

I'm cracking up that you're sneaking off and getting into nurse trouble.

Kourt and I are thinking of you. We had dinner with Brooke and David on Friday, they're thinking of you and sending you lot's of love. Robbie calls daily asking for any updates he's not getting on the blog. You have a huge following.

Love you.

nice spandex...it is almost like my tri suit.
I at the airport sitting on the floor as i had no place to stay tonight and my flight leave at 630 am. So i figured the randomness of sleeping on the floor would be good for me. Except that this airport sucks and is worse than the Regina one.
i will come see you tomorrow when i get home. I have some t-shirts for the family and hopefully the one i got Erin fits her.
Miss your smile.

hey buddy,

Glad to hear you are doing alright! Sorry, I am a size 6, a little to small for your feet but I am sure you can find some lady with matching shoe sizes and you will be well on your way. Give me a text shout of if you get time (sounds lame I know, but I am in ctown and getting my wisdom teeth out this week, so I will be kind of out of commission also).
Thinking about ya everyday and you are just destroying the physio!

by the way the last message was from Erika Barootes! Apparently I do not know my password anymore, even though it is the same as all my other passwords, anyways, thinking and hoping for the best buddy!

Sleeping on the airport floor.....not that great of an idea. It was much better when the airport was Amsterdam!

Mornin' Joel. Just sitting here thinking of you & eating my bread & butter. I am still on my b-b diet so I am cheating this morning. Have to work 10-4. Work all week too. See you soon. Auntie Sheila

Okay so this is my third try. Jolene here, wanted you to know that my entire family is thinking bout you.

Even though I never actually rowed with you, I always felt like you were the silent teammate on the pitch. You and your family were always supportive of our lil' fiho program at the games and most of my memories of you consist of Brandon or Prince Albert.

Brandon, MB - girls swarming around a shaggy hair heartthrob. Oh yeah, and this "sneaky rower" climbing the lamp post to get one of the street signs.
