From Joel's Family

We are overwhelmed by the love and support that everyone has given to Joel and to our family. Our long hours in the waiting room were made bearable knowing so many people were thinking of Joel and sending their best. Sometimes the waiting room seemed almost like a buffet; we think by the time Joel is out of here we will all need a membership to the gym to work off many hours of sitting and nibbling.
Through all this time of worry and stress we have been able to find some light moments of relief with the visits and the smiles we have received from so many of you. Reading this blog really helps Joel as well as us appreciate our communities and our family and friends.

Your kindness will always be remembered.
Love Shane, Donna, and Jan.

p.s. At the moment Joel is snoring loudly, great!

I want you to know that mu thoughts are with you, and that I am sure you will come out if this with a new outlook on life as I know I have by just hearing your story and seeing how you have delt with it. Its looks to me that you have hundreds of people supporting you through this, Its time like this in our lives that we look to those people to change our day! This week, every minute, hour and day you teach me something new about you and how special person you have become. Joel, I just wanted to let you know that I have been thinking about you so much. I haven't been able to get to a computer until today, but Ang Tanner had let me know and I had a ton of emails from other people letting me know what was happening. I am so glad to hear that ever day finds a new success for you. Keep it up!! You are in my thoughts -

Hi Joel!

I'm really glad to hear that things are going much better.
It's amazing how many people you know. It seems that every time i turn around, someone is talking about you or knows you. All my girlfriends know who you are and it's not through me. Some of them have partied at the beach with you!!!
Apparently you're popular...who knew????
In any event, i'm thankful for this website which allows me and my family the opportunity to keep up with you!
It's been a while since i've seen you guys but you all look great. Kaley you've changed soo much but you are beautiful. You are a very strong person and great support for your brother.
I hope to see you soon!

Keep up the great work.

Hugs to everyone!!!

Love
Jenn
