Good Day

Hi Everyone! Joel had another good day with lots of physio and things going on. He is sleeping lots and working hard. He wants everyone to know that we will be posting messages on here from him every two to three days, but continuing to do his updates every day. Also, if you have pictures you want included on here you can email them to jacquiswedberg@hotmail.com and she can put them on the site. Thanks!

Hey Joel, so I have been on here a couple of times but I have never offically got to say how proud I am of you. I have watched you day by day bit by bit and even after this week I just am so incredibly shocked at how well you are taking this and how strong you are standing. I know people tell you this alot but it really is so true. No matter what the outcome is from here on in I think you have fought incredibly well for the begining of this battle and I know deep in my heart that you will continue to do so.
Your a very special person and I am so glad that you have the support from all of the people who love you so much, including me.
Hope you dont have to a gross lunch tomorrow, as I thought you did today:)

Once again just thinking about you and sending you all of my popsitive thoughts. I wish that I could be tehre to witness every amazing step you take towards recovery, however, I am glad to know that you have so many who love you and are there for you every step of the way. i think that I will try and come in tomorrow to see you. I cannot wait to chat with you and see all the amazing progress you have made. I am so proud of you it is unreal. You have always been the most capable person I know, and even under such adversity you continue to shine like no one else I know.

I was so happy to see that you and JD were able to see one another. I can imagine that he gives you a great deal of strength.

Please know that you are such an amazing guy, you have an amazing family, and you are in each and every one of my thoughts. I will hopefully see you tomorrow, if not, the next day. Sending so much love-Ju

hey joel -

we had luke over to your place last night and we was up to his old tricks... stealing jd's rawhides!! jd took it in stride though.

it really seems that jd is in better spirits since seeing you. like one of the other blogs mentioned, animals have such an amazing ability to heal us emotionally, so i hope he rejuvinated your spirits abit too.

i don't know if anyone has mentioned it but your house has the "sold" sign on it !!!

stay strong through physio - i'm sure it will be hard and maybe frustrating at times, but YOU'RE THE MAN!!! there are so many people out here cheering you on!

Hi, Joel. We've never met, but I have worked with your mom and Jan on various union projects and so have been thinking about you and them lots over these past few days. The posts sound really positive, which is great to hear. Just know that, besides your friends and family, lots of complete strangers are sending their positive thought waves out into the ether on your behalf.

Best wishes to all!
